Required Skills:

Minimum 4 years' experience in software engineering

Demonstrated software development expertise in C#/.Net

Experience performing software engineering in an Agile environment

Description:

The goal is to implement enhancements to a suite of products helping public safety first responders improve efficiency and effectiveness. The programmer will work under the direction of the team lead or manager to complete a defined set of requirements and functionality in a Scrum environment.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement feature enhancements and other changes for a suite of software products marketed to the public safety domain

Collaborate with systems engineers to implement system requirements to meet user needs

Develop understanding of existing systems' designs and functionality

Collaborate with systems engineers to assess impacts of proposed changes in terms of functionality and risks

Assist with development of estimates for levels of effort for proposed changes

Apply software engineering best practices to ensure software quality

Develop solutions primarily using C#/.Net. Use of other technologies expected
