Net Developer

.NET Developer, Luxembourg,
Contract: 6 months renewable,
Daily rate: 340/370EUR day
Skills: .Net, SQL, VB, VBA, French, English

SEC Recruitment is looking for a .NET Developer to join a competitive and dynamic company, based in Luxembourg.

Your key accountabilities:
* Develop and maintain applications in accordance with the department policy
* Develop and maintain other applications used within the Fund Accounting area
* Discuss & agree with business users to define and develop their requirements
* Provide technical support and develop technical solutions based on users specifications/requirements
* Provide operational support for the on-going applications
* Reengineer databases and applications when it is required
* Involvement in the overall cycle of the databases development (Users specifications, UAT support and implementation roll-out)

Your skills and experience:
* Proven experience working on business projects and development using the applications: SQL Microsoft server, VB. Net, MS Office VBA
* Graduate degree in IT (or Bac +2/3 for French/Belgium degree equivalent)
* Strong knowledge in RDBMS
* Strong Analysis skills & strong ability to interpret documents/specifications
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong team spirit
* Ability to work under pressure and provide fast solutions
* Fluent In English (written & spoken) and French

Desirable skills
* Basic Knowledge of the Luxembourg Fund Industry or first experience within a Fund Administration area is an advantage
* XML Knowledge
