Net Developer

Beacon Hill Technologies has an opportunity for a .NET Developer on a long term contract basis. This contract will last 6 months, and probably be extended to 18 months.

*Must be able to interview in person.*

This position is mostly maintenance and support of existing systems and code. Our client is open to looking at junior, mid and senior level candidates.

We have an opening in the Information Services Development area for a Contract Applications Developer. If you are an experienced C# .NET Developer you may have the technical skills we need for our team. Ideal candidates should have demonstrated .NET application development skills building large scale enterprise systems, ability to collaborate with other developers and ability to design solutions that realize functional requirements (use cases) developed by Business Analysts or learned via constant user (product owner) feedback in 30 day development sprints. Position responsibilities include analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of new software applications and maintaining existing applications.  Hands-on experience in the Microsoft .NET arena is a requirement. Any experience with Siebel and Imaging is considered a plus. 

You will work with a team of business analysts, developers and quality assurance professionals in the development and maintenance of our systems.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Hands-on C# .NET (3.5) coding experience. One - Five years C# minimum.
- Object Oriented coding experience
- Large enterprise application system development experience
- Work experience with Medium size teams, 10-12 members.
- WCF experience.
- SQL Server 2008/R2 running on Windows server 2003
- Ability to work with Business Analysts and Quality Assurance teams.
- Ability to build maintainable, scalable, secure, and extensible systems having a multi-tiered architecture
- Ability to effectively collaborate with development team members and users
- Ability to define, design, develop a project from concept to completion (A-Z)
- Relevant Programming Experience: ASP.NET, Win Forms (Windows Forms), HTML, XML, Web Services, Web Forms, ADO.NET, WCF, JQuery, SSIS, SSRS, FileNet.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent Information Systems experience is acceptable.
- Agile Scrum project process.  Paired programming. Daily stand ups communicating progress and impediments.
