A WORLD RENOWNED INVESTMENT BANK IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A .NET DEVELOPER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM IN DUBLIN, IRELAND ON A CONTRACT BASIS.
JOB/OPPORTUNITY
The Compliance Technology team is responsible for delivering solutions that satisfy the many requirements necessary to ensure compliance with these rules. We are a global team with team members based in America, Europe and Asia. All of our projects and initiatives require a combination of innovative technology solutions and a close partnership with the Compliance teams to ensure a full understanding of their requirements.
A position now exists within the team for an experienced software developer to work on key initiatives for our Compliance users in EMEA, Asia and America. This challenging role will provide an excellent opportunity to undertake full life cycle tasks in a fast paced and evolving technology environment.
* Experience of working in a medium to large scale organisation with a complex technology infrastructure
* Software development and designing web User Interfaces experience in an agile development process or traditional methodology approach
* Extensive C#, Javascript and JQuery development experience
* Developing in MVC 3 (Razor)
* Database development in SQL on MS SQL Server, Oracle or DB2.
* Source control - SVN or Team Foundation Server.
* IIS.
* XML, XSLT, CSS and HTML.
* Stored Procedures creation and various DDL.
* Defect Tracking - HP Test Director or equivalent defect tracking and test case management application
Skills/Experience
Experience of the following would be advantageous:
* Asp 3.5 and Dot Net Framework 3.5 and above.
* Experience of developing test cases and performing Testing/Quality Assurance.
* Experience of a wide range of financial products (Equity and Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Credit Defaults Swaps), the associated static/reference data and the typical trade life cycle associated with each.
* Experience of Compliance related requirements and regulations as they apply to our businesses and trading activity.
* Experience of working within a global development team spanning Asia
