NET Developer

For our client located in Brussels, Belgium, we are currently looking for a .NET Developer

The .NET Developer will join a team of 5 developers currently working at our client. The objective of this team is to deliver an application which integrates in a suite of critical coreapplications for gas flow management. Based on formal analysis (UML), and following our clients guidelines and market best practices the candidate will produce quality code, with unit-testing, code coverage and documentation. The candidate will also participate in the design of the solution in collaboration with the technical architect. Ideally the candidate will have relevant experience in corporate-wide projects.

Responsibilities
* Cooperate with Lead Developer to produce System and Component Designs
* Implement business & technical components
* Testing (unit tests, integration tests)

Technical Skills
* Ability to work in a consistent and structured way, according to the coding conventions and rules as set out in the architecture
* Ability to do bottom-up research for problem diagnostics
* Ability to document code in a clear and concise manner
* Ability to communicate with business analysts for understanding the UML specifications and designs that form the basis for implementation
* Fluency in the use of the following tools:
o Modeling tools: Enterprise Architect
o Development tools: C#, Visual Studio 2008 with TFS for Source Control, Build, Work Item Tracking, Unit Testing
o Platform related tools : TOAD, Oracle 10g, IIS,
* Ability to learn and use company-specific infrastructure applications, including Fault
* Tolerance, Scheduling, Authorization Manager, SSRS based reporting, Tibco-based Messaging,

Experience & expertise
* Sound experience with understanding and implementing formal UML designs and specifications for complex business logic
* Sound knowledge of C# and .NET 2/3 for development of multi-tier, high-available enterprise applications with WinForms or ASP.NET in front and IIS-hosted .NET Remotingservices in Back End.
* Sound knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL. Knowledge of SSRS is an asset.
* Experience with XML (XSLT, XPath, )
* Sound knowledge of and experience with OO development and generally applicable patterns.
* Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design-principles is an asset
* Knowledge of Scrum is an asset

* Ability to work structured following the procedures (check-in, check-out, time sheet reporting, punctuality)
* Ability to work according to rules, standards and guidelines defined in the architecture
