We're looking for an experienced .NET DEVELOPER to join our market-leading client in the energy industry in one of their Scrum teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a strong service and support team, and further develop your expertise as a technical professional and aspiring team mentor.

You will be responsible for primarily for the replacement of their existing application; ensuring completion of correct screen-writing, Server Side developments and major modification activities on the existing codebase. The .NET DEVELOPER will be involved in all aspects of the product life cycle, and will be expected to competently drive the bespoke development of .NET/Visual Basic/CA Gen/Java applications. You will also be rotated within Operations team sporadically, providing application support and technical delivery assistance as required, and further developing your skill set in the process.

The perfect .NET DEVELOPER will need the following to perform well in this position:
- In-depth knowledge of software engineering
- Experience with SQL and other database systems (DBA, Oracle)
- Confidence working with Servers and Middleware(Windows, Tomcat, Microsoft IIS), and in Scripting and automation (Python, Maven, Nant)
- An understanding of configuration management (TFS)
- Proven skill with build and deployment tools (Jenkins build)
- Familiarity with development tools (Visual Studio, .NET, C#, CA Gen, Java)
- Competence and proven success working to agile principles and practices (Kanban)

Our talented .NET DEVELOPER should also be capable of communicating fluently in English and ideally also Norwegian. You should be passionate about building efficient tools and practices for software development and distribution and ready for work immediately.
