Net Developer

Yoh has a six (6) plus month contract opportunity available for a .NET DEVELOPER for a growing client in Wilmington, DE.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The position requires the design, coding, and testing of software projects utilizing SQL, XML/XSL, ASP.NET, WinForms, and C#.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with Development Team Leader, Scrum team, and business owners to refine and clarify project requirements.
- Lead design efforts of new systems and evaluate approaches for modifying existing systems.
- Code projects using existing design standards and with an eye to high quality, this will include making sure the appropriate unit, functional and user tests are in place.
- Help gather and provide input to assist in overall team process improvement and product design stability.
- Properly track issues and resolutions in relation to the development effort.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Five plus (5) plus years of work experience developing applications is a must.
- Two plus (2) plus of years experience managing projects and teams is also required.
- Two plus (2) plus of years experience with multi tier system design and implementation.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and processes for quality assurance guidelines.
- Knowledge of Internet protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, etc.).
- Knowledge of XML-based technologies, and encryption programming (SSL, etc.).
- Knowledge of Object Oriented programming, C#.
- Knowledge of the disciplines of Software Engineering with emphasis on testing.
- Experience testing Client Server and Web software.
- Knowledge of Internet and enterprise software technologies including web and application Servers.
