NET Developer

TITLE: .NET DEVELOPER - NASHVILLE

POSITION OVERVIEW

Develop and support critical company software applications using Microsoft development tools. This individual needs 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining elements of a modern n-tier application.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Capture requirements and design solutions in the context of the existing architecture
- Address performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements
- Collaborate with permanent developers and help them become familiar and productive with the toolset
- Work effectively as part of a development team
- Identify, analyze, and address application interfaces and dependencies
- Assist with defining and automating the software infrastructure processes
- Assist business analysts with requirements definition

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related/equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years on-the-job experience in.NET Framework 3.5 or higher
- Experience in designing, developing, testing and maintaining elements of a modern n-tier application, using various tools and technologies
- Experience with ASP.NET and MVC 3.0+
- Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SQL Server 2008, and Visual Studio 2010 required
- Desired experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM), ASP.NET, MVC design pattern, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
