Net Developer

.NET DEVELOPER

.NET Developer required for my client. The role requires involvement in the full software development life cycle from requirements analysis through design and build, testing and implementation and the support and maintenance of the resulting services.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS.

- A degree in a computer related discipline or a degree in any subject with a relevant computing qualification and experience
- Enthusiasm for high quality, customer focused software development
- Experience of the software development cycle and related methodologies
- Very good knowledge of the .NET framework including programming in C# and ASP .NET
- Good understanding of web services and knowledge of web technologies (eg CSS, AJAX, XML, JAVASCRIPT)
- Good understanding of relational database basics (including SQL query writing, data binding in ASP.NET)
- Knowledge of administering web server software, primarily IIS
- Knowledge of providing and consuming web services
- Knowledge of latest developments in web technologies
- Knowledge of web-enabling issues and standards (browser compatibility, usability issues, accessibility issues, W3C standards)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners
- Ability to work in a shared team environment
- Ability to work independently to predefined requirements
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
