Net Developer

My Aberdeen Oil and Gas client are currently transitioning their existing web applications to a Service Orientated Architecture and are looking for a .NET developer on a 3 month contract to assist with the increased workload.

Responsibilities include:
* Work with the business to understand business requirements and document effective designs, code and unit tests for new system solutions
* Code to application design requirements.
* Coach, mentor or train more junior staff and demonstrate the ability to handle situations as and when they arise.
* Design, code and unit test enhancements to existing systems, based on design specifications provided or those documented.
* Collaborate with peers and other developers in applications software development.
* Provide support for the maintenance and implementation of enhancements to existing applications
* Experience in structured systems development environment.
* Experience in designing and building web applications
* Test Driven Development (TDD)
