Net Developer

ASP.Net, C# Developer required - ASP.Net, C#, AJAX, JavaScript, WCF CONTRACT

Type - Contract (3 months +)
Location - Merseyside
Rates - £200 - £240 per day
Start Date - 22nd October

C# ASP.Net Web Developer is required for an initial 3 month contract based in the Merseyside area. Working aside from the main system, you will be developing an application for journey booking information. Essentially you will be writing queries for Webservices which in turn query a database.

Essential Skills:

- ASP .Net / c# . net V2.0 - V4.0
- Ajax / Javascript
- CSS / Front-End Design and Layout (Specialist graphical skills such as photoshop are not required)
- ASP.Net Forms (Net 2.0), WCF (Net 3.5 / 4.0)
- Web Services (both Client and Server development)
- XML / XSLT
- SQL Server (Stored Procs)

Desirables

- HTML5
- Vb.net knowledge (some existing code is vb.net, however it is basic code)
- Excel / VBA experience
- SVN (Subversion) for source control

The project is an existing net 2.0 Website with Web Services which needs re-developing with additional functionality (both the Web Site and the Web Service). The client already have technical specifications, but functional specifications and documentation will need to be produced by the successful candidate.
