Net Developer

PURPOSE OF ROLE

- The Application developer is an individual responsible for marekting platform development to meet business requirements

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Active member of implementation team with responsibility for all technical aspects of a project,
- Preparation of technical specifications for interfaces, workflows, customisations, data migration scripts, reports and other query tools
- Development of interfaces, workflows, customisations, data migration scripts, reports and queries
- Identify and initiate continuous improvement activities in support of ongoing IT delivery
- Assist in implementation of new functionality to be applied into production with smooth handover to users (UAT, feed into training)

BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- .NET or equivalent development expertise
- Business systems development experience - iedemonstratable experience of implementing technical change in a similar organisation.
- Ability to assimilate information quickly within a fast paced environment
- Evidence of continuous improvement
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or other related field or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Exposure to change management
- Demonstrates high standards of professional behaviour in dealings with clients, colleagues and staff.
- Demonstrates a rational and organized approach to the tasks undertaken and an awareness of the need to achieve quality.
