Description/Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for analysing, implementing and testing application/database functionality as directed

Maintaining the application and Back Office systems
-

Effectively delivering the functional aspects of website applications
-

Developing web applications; SQL Server - knowledge of writing stored procedures

Key tasks and deliverables:

-

Develop a user interface using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API
-

Take responsibility for the design, coding, testing and documentation of implementing small scale to large, complex programs.

First stage is to work with the UX Team and develop an end to end (Alpha system).
-

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver highly user focused and successful digital services Take responsibility for own training and development, keeping skills up to date and learning new skills Work to agreed quality of standards, procedures and processes Document plans, support instructions and other necessary documentation

Coach or mentor junior/trainee colleagues Implement/deliver business solutions

Attend technical meetings

Essential:

Performs a broad range of technical work, often complex and non-routine, in the following technologies:

-

C# & .NET Framework (preferably 4.5.1) Visual Studio (preferably 2013) ASP.NET MVC ASP.NET Web API Web Services, SOAP, REST SQL Server 2008+ Unit Testing, TDD, BDD Version Control (Team Foundation Server) XML IIS Experience of working to an agile software development framework (preferably Scrum).
