A .NET C# Developer is required for the below position:
DESCRIPTION:
The employee will be part of our section SYMO (Systems and Designs). He/she will be deployed for the duration of the project "SYMO generic framework".
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The "SYMO generic framework" is a code library, Currently written in C ++, that contains tools to Facilitate the Development of line planning and scheduling software. It is used to model the line planning or slabs in the slab yard, the scheduling of heats in the steel shop ...
The goal is to maximize code reuse in our software. For this, the framework gives a generic approach to representing a business problem, Typically in a tree structure. The framework offers usefull tools for interfacing with databases, text files, or .NET applications, so our models can receive data and give out model results. Further More, it Simplifies the manipulation of our Business Objects. Finally it is easy to plug in model-specific code, as each model requires its own business logic.
To Further Enhance our development model, we want a complete revamping of the generic framework (C #), that Focuses on maintainability and transparency. The new framework shouldering allow multi-threading, All which the current framework lacks.
To design and implement this revamped framework, we are looking for a C # -specialist, who Also has affinity with C ++.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Master degree (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years experience in IT
well.NET Knowledge, min 3 years experience required (C #)
Experience with C ++
Technical strong, can thinking about composing framework
PERSONAL SKILLS:
Communicative, can work well in teams and have smooth route to Gent
The applicant will need fluent knowledge in French or Dutch and have basic knowledge of the other minimum.
