.NET/C# DEVELOPER (2X) - FINANCIAL SERVICES - AGILE (SCRUM), TDD, BDD, SOLID - 6 MONTHS + POTENTIAL EXTENSIONS

My client a growing name within the financial services sector are on the look for two highly skilled and talented C# developers with a genuine passion for software development to join their Hertfordshire based team.

You will be able to demonstrate; SOLID design principles, Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) as well as having gained extensive experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Developer will be responsible for both new developments and maintenance of the company flagship product
- You will be part of an established Agile Scrum Team practicing; Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Part 1 and Part 2 sessions, Sprint Refinement meeting, Sprint Retrospectives and Sprint Review sessions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

YOU WILL BE PROFICIENT USING THE FOLLOWING:

- .NET/C# (at least version 4.0)
- ASP.NET/ASP.NET MVC
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript
- XML/XSL/XSLT
- WCF (SOAP & REST)
- Web API
- ADO.NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, Nhibernate & Dapper
- Dependency Injector (Simple Injector or equivalent)
- Automapper (or equivalent)
- Moq (or equivalent)
- ReSharper
- GIT

YOU WILL HAVE A STRONG COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE LEVEL IN THE FOLLOWING:

- Agile (SCRUM)
- SOLID Principles
- Design Patterns
- Object Orientated Programming
- Test-driven Development (TDD)
- Behavior-driven Development (BDD)
- Refactoring and increasing code coverage
- Code Reviews (Code Quality and Security)
- Dependency Injection
- Building highly scalable applications
- Relational database modelling (SQL Server 2012)

DESIRABLE 'EXTRA' EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

- Payments Service Provider experience (EMV, Contactless, Ecommerce)
- TCPIP Sockets Communications
- Serial Communications

CONTRACT DURATION:
The initial contract duration for this position has been set at 6 months with a strong expectation of further extension.

LOCATION: East Hertfordshire

REQUIRED START DATE:
The company are looking to begin the hiring process for this position ASAP. As such they will begin interviewing immediately where possible/successful.

AVAILABLE DAILY RATE:
There is a maximum budget of £365 p/d for this position.
