One of or clients in the gaz distribution industry currently requires a .NET C# Developer
Start: ASAP
End: 31/3/2015
Location: Brussels
Mission Description:
- Our client is actively looking for a .NET C# Web developer to integrate one of the development teams responsible to deliver a new mission critical solution.
- Based on detailed analysis (UML), and following the clients' guidelines and market best practices the consultant will produce quality code, with unit-testing and documentation.
- The consultant will also participate in the design of the solution in collaboration with the technical lead and architects
- Ideally the consultant will have relevant experience incorporate-wide projects.
Responsibilities
- Cooperate with Technical Architect, Dev leads and Project Manager toproduce functionalities.
- Implement new functionalities and maintain existing software.
- Testing (unit tests, integration tests).
- Collaborate with operations teams to deploy/configure the software.
- Realize support and maintenance service by helping in bug finding and resolution,incident management.
Communication Skills
- Ability to communicate with business analysts for understanding the specifications and designs that form the basis for implementation
- Ability to communicate with technical lead to understand the constraints of the architecture that must be followed.
- Ability to communicate in Dutch (spoken) or French (spoken) and English (spoken and written)
Personal Skills
- Ability to work relatively independently following the priorities and timing of the release plan
- Ability to work structured following the procedures (check-in,check-out, time sheet reporting, punctuality)
- Ability to work according to rules, standards and guidelines definedin the architecture
- Ability to communicate realistic predictions about the development work
- Ability to learn a complex business model
Technical Skills
- Experienced developer with at least 3 years of experience with development.
- Is up to date with latest Microsoft and web technologies but willing to follow the Fluxys design guidelines and architecture.
- Capability to develop based on UML specifications.
- Ability to do bottom-up research for problem diagnostics
- Fluency in the use of the following technologies and tools:
- Microsoft development platform in general and especially web oriented technologies.
- ASP.NET MVC 3 or higher.
- Visual Studio 2013 (VSTS is an asset)
- Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap
- WCF
- DDD (Domain Driven Design)
- PL/SQL
- Design Patterns
- Follow BDD or TDD development practices.
- Basic knowledge of Middleware >= Windows2012Server, IIS, Queuing
- Knowledge of one or more of following technologies and practices: TOAD, Web API, Angular, Autofac, ADFS, ReportingServices, NHibernate
