Net Azure Architect/Developer

POSITION GOALS: You are comfortable of wearing both the architect's and the developer's hat. You are familiar with technology and cloud design patterns as much as you are with its culture and business models. You have gained experience in several cloud projects and have deployed at least one cloud based application of relevant size to production. You have a deep understanding of event driven, horizontal and message oriented architectures

MAIN TASKS/ACTIVITIES:

- Creating the architecture of public cloud based parametric insurance products
- Develop complex and highly scalable micro services based applications in a cloud platform
- Guide internal and external development teams

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Higher education degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- 5+ years' of experience as an architect and developer using PaaS
- Experience of cloud applications and a cloud platform (preferably MS Azure)
- Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies (including open source), business drivers, and emerging computing trends
- You have successfully deployed at least one cloud based application of a relevant size to production
- Client centric mindset Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
- A strong team player
- Very strong .NET expertise Experienced in microservice design and implementation Docker
