THE KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Contribute towards road maps for integrating existing systems and migration to the next generation application stack evaluating alternative approaches; help align architecture and design of project towards organizational and customer objectives.
- Good technical knowledge
- Drive building technological capabilities among developers that align with process and organization IT Roadmap.
- Ensure consistent and up to date design documentation for solutions developed.
- Building strong relationships across business with a focus on collaboration, working as 'One Team' and 'Continuous Improvement'.
- Managing Services and Development Leads, Business Solution Director, Application Architect, and Business Sponsor expectations
- Maintains comprehensive view of all aspects of solution management with sufficient understanding of and visibility into Infrastructure Architecture, Service Management, PMO, Support, Operations and other areas to develop solutions
- Analyzes emerging information technologies, including working to translate emerging technology implications into an effective systems engineering vision and strategy.
- Application Architect, envision technical solutions
- Technical coaching of less experienced developers (1-3 team members)
- Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
- Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
- Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
- Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
- Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
THE KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
- Multi-tier application development & design
- Agile project development, methodologies & Scrum
- From analysing user requirements to implementation
- Able to work independently or in a team
- Proven experience as software architect
- Excellent Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
- Excellent knowledge of UML and other modelling methods
- Excellent knowledge with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
- Excellent knowledge of UI/UX Framework Angular, others are a plus.
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
- High quality organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Technically Coaching others
- Intimate understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle - both Waterfall and Agile.
- Strong experience working on Software Development projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work within a team environment, manage business stakeholders and independently coordinate and deliver commitments
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and negotiate and mutually agree timescales with project managers
