NET Applications Architect

Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a .NET Application Architect to join its architecture team, for a 12 month contract, based in the beautiful city of Brussels.

The successful candidate must speak fluent French or Dutch, with a good knowledge of the other.
You Must be a self-starter, work well independently, and in a collaborative team environment.

Experience Required;

3 or more years' experience:

As a .NET developer on business applications.

With - modern- web applications development (responsive design, Real Time & interactive)

As a software/application .NET architect.

Experience in insurance or financial domain would be preferable.

Mandatory Technical Experience:

Extensive experience in .NET C# & NET framework

.NET technologies (ASP .NET forms & MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF, ADO.NET, Entity Framework).

Web technologies (JavaScript, jQuery)

JavaScript (JQuery UI, JQuery templating, knockout.js, angular.js)

Knowledge of Responsive design framework such as Bootstrap.

SOAP & XML technologies + REST, Json

Unit testing frameworks (MSTest, Nunit..)

Proficient in SQL Server 2008/2012 (standard application database access management)

Knowledge of TFS (eg source control, Work items, Build)

Functional Experience Required:

(MVC, MVVM) & OO experience

Objective of the job

Application Development projects
. Design the technical (mostly .NET) architecture of all starting application development projects.
. Explain, coach & follow-up the .NET development team during these projects.
. Collaborate with colleague architects to integrate the .NET part of the solution in the global solution.
