Net Application Developer

Randstad Professionals is actively looking for a .NET Application Developer to join their banking client's Lending and Collateral IT development team in Zurich, Switzerland.

The role will last 6 months, with a possibility for extension and will collaborate with IT peer globally, in particular Zurich and Wroclaw, Poland

You will provide the team with strong C#/.Net and SQL development skills, as well as setting high standards for code development and implement high quality development processes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Provide strong C#/.Net and SQL development skills to the team.
-Help develop specifications with business analysts and technical leads to satisfy a wide range of projects and initiatives
-Perform regular code reviews to ensure development standards are met and that high quality is maintained
-Help ensure that the development team is delivering to the agreed plan, monitor issues and escalate in a timely manner in order to avoid unexpected delays.
-Participate in the entire software development life cycle including technical design, documentation, software development, unit testing & production implementation
-Support QA team and testers throughout functional and regression testing of changes.

Required skills:
-Strong C# .NET development skills
-Ability to write complex database queries using ANSI or T-SQL
-At least 3 years development experience in business (at least 1 year in C#)
-Strong understanding of OO concepts and design patterns
-Experience of supporting end users preferably within a trading environment.
-Test automation experience working knowledge
