NET Application Architect

Our direct Fortune 500 client located near DC NW is looking for a .NET Application Architect for a 6 month renewable contract. The candidate will be expected to ensure software and system architecture are in synchronization, confirm appropriate modelling is being done, provide input to tool and environment selection, make sure that the architecture is not only the right one for operations, but also for deployment and sustainment, etc. Required skills include 5+ years of Microsoft .NET tool/tecnhologies, 5+ years SDLC experience, 5+ years of user interface, web service and/or database development, and 2+ years of Azure/Cloud experience. Required:

5+ years experience with Microsoft .NET tools and technologies.
5+ years experience in the complete software development life cycle.
5+ years experience with user interface, web service, and/or database development.
2+ years working in an Azure Cloud environment.
Excellent communication skills working with a distributed team.
Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent professional experience.
