NET Application Architect

The client is actively searching a .NET Application Architect to join its architecture team. The architecture team sets out and follows up the architecture guidelines of all starting big projects and ensures the quality of the existing and new patrimony of applications.

Start date: ASAP - no later than 01/03/2015

Duration: 12 months(Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)

Languages;- English with some French or Dutch

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Mandatory:- Experience as a .NET developer on business applications.

Experience on modern web applications development (responsive design, Real Time & interactive)

Experience as a software/application .NET architect.

Nice to have:- Experience on projects with different technology stacks, integration aspects (with packages or external solutions) & infrastructure aspects.

Experience with mobile app development & architecture (web or native)

Experience in insurance or financial domain.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Advanced knowledge & experience in .NET C# & NET framework (from 2.0 to latest)

Advanced knowledge & experience in following standard .NET technologies (ASP .NET forms & MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF, ADO.NET, Entity Framework).

Advanced knowledge & experience of web client technologies (JavaScript, jquery)

Knowledge of technologies & framework around JavaScript (Jquery UI, Jquery templating, knockout.js, angular.js )

Knowledge of Responsive design framework such as Bootstrap.

Knowledge of SOAP & XML technologies + REST, Json

Knowledge of popular technologies & framework built around .NET (enterprise library, mocking framework eg Moq, IOC container, etc.)

Experience in unit testing frameworks (MSTest, Nunit..)

Proficient in SQL Server 2008/2012 (standard application database access management)

Knowledge of TFS (eg source control, Work items, Build)

Being aware of best practices, trends & evolutions of the IT industry and most particularly Microsoft technologies stacks.

Nice to have:

Experience in solving performance related problems specifically on web applications eg caching + web traffic optimization )

Experience in automated performance & load testing

Experience in unit testing of UI & JavaScript (Qunit)

Knowledge of queuing, BizTalk technology

Knowledge of SQL server SSIS, SSRS..

Knowledge on SharePoint, MS Dynamics CRM

Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards such as openID, SAML, EID usage

Knowledge of mobile native or hybrid technologies (Apple objective C/swift + SDK, Android Java + SDK, Xamarin, etc.)
