Net Application Architect

Projektbeschreibung
We are currently seeking a .NET Application Architect to begin work on an exciting 12 Month+ contract for our client, a major player in the insurance sector based in Brussels.
The successful candidate must not only speak English fluently but MUST speak either fluent French or Dutch (with at least a basic understanding of the other).
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRED:
- Advanced knowledge & experience in .NET C# & NET framework (from 2.0 to latest)
- Advanced knowledge & experience in following standard .NET technologies (ASP .NET forms & MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF, ADO.NET, Entity Framework).
- Advanced knowledge & experience of web client technologies (JavaScript, jQuery)
- Knowledge of technologies & framework around JavaScript (JQuery UI, jQuery templating, knockout.js, angular.js )
- Knowledge of Responsive design framework such as Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of SOAP & XML technologies + REST, Json
- Knowledge of popular technologies & framework built around .NET (enterprise library, mocking framework eg Moq, IOC container, etc.)
- Experience in unit testing frameworks (MSTest, Nunit)
- Proficient in SQL Server 2008/2012 (standard application database access management)
BUSINESS EXPERTISE REQUIRED:
- Experience on "modern" web applications development (responsive design, Real Time & interactive
- Experience as a software/application .NET Architect
- Experience on Projects with different technology stacks, integration aspects (With packages or external solutions) & infrastructure aspects
- Experience with mobile app development & architecture (web or native)
- Experience in insurance or financial domain
THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE:
- Design the technical (mostly .NET) architecture of all starting application development projects.
- Explain, coach & follow-up the .NET development team during these projects.
- Give support to the development team & help to solve all occurring problems during development.
- Collaborate with the colleague .NET architects and constructively come to the best solutions.
- Collaborate with colleague architects to integrate the .NET part of the solution in the global solution.
- Report to project leaders & managers on risks, issues, planning
- Ensure the quality of new built and existing applications.
- Propose and document the required standards, guidelines, best practices to increase development productivity & quality.
- Propose tools or techniques to increase development productivity & quality.
- Analyse performance issues, search for root causes & solve these issues.
- Propose KPI's to track quality or performance on a recurrent basis.
- Participate to new technologies/products evaluations/proof of concepts
