Nebosh Diploma Qualified HSE Manager

Progressive Global Energy are seeking an experience NEBOSH DIPLOMA qualified HSE Manager. The organisation are a world leader in flow equipment and high pressure control equipment.

They are looking for someone who will come on board who will;

Implement the company Health, Safety and Environmental management system/policy within the Aberdeen facility and its vendor community. To ensure that all statutory legal HSE requirements are identified and implemented within the Aberdeen facility. To facilitate the step change in safety performance and behaviour at Aberdeen plant.

Provide specific HSE support to internal customers. Will be responsible for the management of one to two HSE specialist or equivalent.

REQUIREMENTS

The required minimum qualification level for the job holder is the satisfactory completion of a recognised qualification in Health, Safety or the Environment E.g. NEBOSH National General Diploma Part 1 or equivalent. Ideally they should hold a first degree in engineering or similar.

In order to be able to fulfil the requirements of the job, the job holder shall be:

Able to understand and interpret the requirements of the national and international health, safety and environmental legislation

Excellent interpersonal skills particularly effective influencing

5 years plus working in a safety management role in manufacturing, engineering or oil/gas background

Experienced in delivering training courses to a wide range of employees

An effective communicator at all levels; written and spoken word.

Self motivated and able to expedite work to its conclusion without supervision.

Committed to the concept of zero accidents and HSE incidents and work effectively with others to achieve this target

An Experienced and Qualified auditor
