NDT (Ultrasonics) Engineer

NDT Engineer Required for our global nuclear client based in Gloucester.

The NDT engineer must have the following:

PCN Level II in UT (Ultrasonic Testing)
PCN Level II in Phased Array
Experience in Nuclear/O&G

This position will be focusing on technique development and will involve the candidate undertaking the following tasks:

Work with Engineering team to develop inspection equipment. Involves taking the existing inspections equipment and integrate sensors to develop and so the kit can be customised to the necessary job.
Data collection and review of the data. Analysis will be done independently.

Our client need to develop their inspection equipment accordingly and therefore require the NDT Engineer to integrate the appropriate parts.

Other aspects include:

Client Interfacing
Understanding technical requirements
Producing plan and technical proposals
Technique development and taking techniques to site
Writing procedures
