NC Programmer

Our client, a leading British Aerospace company is looking for a number of NC Programmer for a 6 months contract in Barnoldswick.

We are looking for contractors who can generate and prove out NC programmes. Support Dimensional Characteristic Matrix activities and provide offline NC programming.

- CNC Programming; Milling, Drilling and Turning Applications Using NX4 and above (UG PLM)
- Post Processing of NX Programs
- Engine block machining
- Creation of Program Manuals/Shop Floor Documents
- Use Vericut to prove out programs.

Our client uses TIMES and NX 7.4 - we do not offer any training on NX and so would require you to be familiar with NX version 4 and upwards

The ideal candidate will come from an Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing engineering background and would have a good understanding of lean manufacturing, process improvement and machining processes.
