NAV User Support

OUR CENTRAL GOVERNMENT CLIENT REQUIRE A NAV USER SUPPORT DEVELOPER TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT.

THE ROLE IS BASED IN CENTRAL LONDON AND WILL RUN TO THE END OF MARCH 2013

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical support to configure NAV will be required to: 1. Configure structures and reports for PSBP in NAV 2. Roll out (including demonstrations and training) and act as first line user support for the NAV portal development currently being developed by the NAV support company for project directors 3. Design, test and roll out (including demonstrations and training) of the contractors system across the organisation. Configure new reports 4. Develop existing reports in JET (new reporting tool) to simplify month end reporting

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential competences: Knowledge and experience of the Microsoft NAV 2009 finance system Can work under pressure and either resolve issues or facilitate their resolution to sensible outcomes Is a very good Excel practitioner who can use its power to analyse, compare and report irregularities and mismatches Knowledge and experience of financial management processes and the impact on users Accountancy and/or an audit background is required to ensure that key data issues are picked up, understood and acted upon correctly and that the quality of the work is paramount in decision making Can achieve results through others - much of this work initially will be enquiry, collation and analysis of others data A positive approach to managing change.

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Prince 2 Qualification.
Microsoft Dynamics Navision (Nav).
Advanced Microsoft application Skills (Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
Knowledge of JET Express.
Knowledge of Budget/Finance processes
