NATO Technical Support Speicalist

TECHNICAL SUPPORT/USER SUPPORT/1ST LINE SUPPORT/NETWORK TROUBLESHOOTING/INCIDENT MANAGEMENT/NATO/IMMEDIATE START

ROLE TITLE: IT Operations Specialist
RATE: €23 - 27 per hour
LOCATIONS: Mons, Belgium
CLEARANCE: SC Cleared/NATO Secret
DURATION: To start ASAP until December 2018

Duties and Role:

The incumbent will be Embedded in CSU Mons and under the direction of CSU Mons Section Head

Technical Support, will perform the following duties:

-Provide user support for Workstation, fixed and mobile telephony services during service deployment, troubleshooting, restoration, change.
- Assist connectivity troubleshooting activities on data LAN, VTC and telephone network systems.
- Assist network cabling activities.
- Contribute to Service Operations processes through

Skills Knowledge and Experience:

Higher Secondary education and completed higher vocational training leading to a formal technical or Professional certification with 3 years function related experience, or a Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 5years post related experience.

- 3 years working experience in a CIS environment.
- 3 years working experience supporting IT users
- Word Processing: Working knowledge
- Spreadsheet: Working knowledge
- Graphics Presentation: Working knowledge
- E-mail clients/Web Browsing: Working knowledge
- MS Visio: Working knowledge
- Knowledge of the capabilities and deployment of Personal Computers (PC)
- Knowledge of current operating systems and office automation software

It is desirable that the incumbent has the following experience/education:

- Prior experience of working in an inter national environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation.
