NATO Cleared Business Analyst and HR Database Developer - Brussels - 6

We urgently seeking Security Cleared (NATO) Business Analyst (Human Resources database development) who will continue supporting the consolidated database to ensure reliable data is used to inform decision making, while definitively linking and effectively managing the data migration of manpower capital, budgetary resources, and business requirements into the new ERP (EBS) scheduled for implementation by the beginning of 2018.

The successful candidate must be able to:

- conduct raw data analysis as well as determine, document, and verify technical database requirements for compiling the data from the current source data tool sets being used throughout the Agency. A nalysis must be consolidated into comprehensive and effective strategic level overviews of current and projected transitional changes based on cost efficiencies and savings achieved.

In addition, other tasks will include reconciliation of the source data:

- Implementation of the Human Resources Reconciliation Plan: Consolidation of the required data to reside in the database, validation of the existing data, and verification of the data with source data owners. The data consolidation and validation is to be executed weekly or as needed in Microsoft Excel. With each upload, the SQL database will produce discrepancy reports identify issues with source data not adhering to standards. Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to identify the root cause of the discrepancies and amend the source data as required.

Essential skills and experience:

- Experience in database management and customer interface;
- Experience in institutional communication;
- Good knowledge and practice of data management;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. (include knowledge of the following formulas: VLOOKUP, IFERROR, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS, IF (by itself and in conjunction with AND, OR, and NOT), AVERAGE)
- Good knowledge of SQL databases;
- Advanced analytical skills;
- Strong writing (documentation) and customer service skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong emphasis in HR experience with years of Microsoft Excel expertise
- Team member with positive attitude and good team spirit
- Friendly, well-spoken in English and can directly respond to questions/tasks when directed
