National Recruitment Centre Trainer- £27000 - Upavon, Wiltshire Fixed Term Contract

Capita are recruiting a Trainer to join the existing team based in the National Recruitment Centre in Upavon on a fixed term contract until March 2014.

Staffed by military and civilian personnel, the National Recruitment Centre (NRC) at Upavon delivers the entire process for the attraction and recruitment of soldiers and officers to the Regular and Territorial Army.

As a Trainer at the NRC you will be will provide a wide range of learning and development support to managers and staff across the service, ensuring that knowledge, skills and competence are continually updated and refreshed and individual's personal development objectives are met.

Whilst the role will primarily focus on those staff working within the NRC, the Trainers will work closely with Instructors from the Army School of Recruiting (ASR) to ensure consistency of message and effective use of resources. The ASR main focus is on the training of military recruiters working in Army Careers Centres, Outreach Teams and Reserve Units.

* Design of effective training initiatives for a variety of roles within the RG Service
* Delivery of quality training at the NRC and occasionally at other RG sites across the UK
* Evaluation of training and the redesign of programmes as required
* Provision of learning and development advice and guidance to managers and staff across the Service
* Work with colleagues in the ASR sharing learning best practice and providing support as required
* Work with the Service to understand forthcoming development requirements and design appropriate solutions
* Support managers with their responsibilities for developing their staff
* Positively represent army and the careers it offers

Candidates will have experience designing and delivery training materials, have excellent presentation skills and ideally hold a CIPD, CTLLS or equivalent qualification
