A top consultancy are looking for a NAS Storage Administrator for a top tier financial services company.
Duties include the day to day support of a 24 x 7 x 365 enterprise storage systems, disk provisioning, troubleshooting, diagnosis, maintenance and service improvements. Assist in Infrastructure operations, strategy and design of data center, systems and storage technologies
Responsibilities include monitoring client environment and alerting customer of potential issues with recommended action plans that adhere to best practices in a largely SAN environment. Heavy use of Operations Manager, Performance Advisor, and assessment tool set requiring expert level performance analysis and capacity planning experience
SKILLS:
Clustered mode deep knowledge (CDOT certifications), 7mode as well, Scripting (shells script Unix - needed)
NetApp FAS series and HNAS solutions (HDS NAS - preferable)
Storage replication methods using snapmirror and NDMP
.Knowledge of perf analysis (CDOT) and OCUM MGMT
.Manage and lead efforts to manage controls and ensure smooth execution of controls
.Work with engineering and architecture teams to ensure defined solutions are accurate
3-5 years of experience with enterprise NAS storage platforms with 1-3 years of experience in Hitachi/NetApp environments.
On call (on a Router system) will be expected.
Location: Zurich - PREFERENCES MUST BE GIVEN FOR A PERSON LOCATED IN SWITZERLAND (ZURICH AREAS), MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH (AT LEAST), GERMAN ON TOP IS A NICE TO HAVE.
