This is an exclusive and exciting new contract opportunity for a MySQL DBA with extensive experience of large scale MySQL deployments and either Perl, Python or PHP programming skills based in Dover.

WORKING WITHIN A DEDICATED TEAM OF ADMINISTRATORS, AS A MYSQL DBA YOU WILL HAVE: - - Extensive experience of administering large-scale MySQL and intensive use of MySQL replication
- Expert systems automation and systems programming knowledge
- Strong interest and ability to analyse systems for scalability and reliability problems which you can then resolve yourself
- Good programming skills in Python, PHP, or Perl
- High proficiency in Bourne Shell Scripting
- Good proficiency in Linux systems administration

On client's instructions, due to the urgency, nature and length of the assignment, the successful candidate must have current security clearance to SC level or above. This role complies with national security vetting requirements.
