Music Editor (French)

Urgent Role - Music Editor - 11 Month position - London based.

*Language: English and French fluently*

Responsibilities:
* Create, commission and QA playlists
* Data entry for monitoring performance of playlists and campaigns
* Contribute to the improvement of back catalogue selection and metadata quality
* Identify and drive co-promotion or cross-promotion opportunities with internal and external partners
* Conduct metrics-based analysis of playlist performance and provide recommendations for enhancing their effectiveness
* Support partner and technical teams to troubleshoot user-facing issues
* Work with Engineering to ensure all titles in programming plans are ordered and ingested.
* Participate in regular meetings with content partners, in order to identify editorial opportunities

Must have requirements:
BA/BSc required. Advanced degree a plus.
* Ability to speak and write in English and French fluently and idiomatically
* Experience in an editorial/merchandising role for a mobile or online digital content business
* Deep knowledge and understanding of the music industry and French culture
* Strong editorial and creative skills ability to craft messaging and work with design and production resources to drive creative execution
* Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze research or performance data and apply that analysis to optimize our editorial strategy
* Experience working with both external and internal partners on co-promotion or cross-promotion strategies and campaigns
* Knowledge of and experience with online best practices
* High attention to detail, ability to maintain several different projects simultaneously, while creating precise and effective customer-facing communications

This is a contract position paid per hour as a PAYE temp -11 Month contract initially.

£19.03 per hour - Standard day is 8 hours.

11 Month temporary position - Possible extension.
