Murex Developer - New York City Hedge Fund - Full Time

My client, a major hedge fund in New York City, seeks an expert java developer who has prior experience working on Murex platforms. This person will be joining an esteemed team of developers building out the firms fixed income transaction system. On a day to day basis this person will be enhancing this real time system with new technologies, calculating risk and PnL, and as well as supporting the system for its users.

To qualify for this elite role:

- 3-5 years of Murex development / integration experience
- 5 years of core java experience
- 3 years of scripting (shell, perl, python, etc.)
- Financial experience - preferably in Fixed Income
- Experience optimizing real-time systems

This is an urgent requirement and the client is looking for a motivated technical expert who can work well with others to perform task under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills as well as being a self-starter.
