Murex Business Analyst Treasury

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Translation of business requirements from internal stakeholders in high quality functional specifications
Gap analysis between the business requirements and the existing business applications/processes
Validation of the implemented solution against the functional specifications to ensure that the project matches the business requirements
Provide robust functional design as aligned with the business requirements
Walkthrough of functional requirements to the business and technology stakeholders
Functional analysis of business requirements by identifying potential problems and proposing solutions
Ensure the completeness of the business requirements and add value by proposing best-in-class solutions
Provide requirement clarity to IT Developers to avoid gaps in delivery
Provide functional walkthrough of developed solution to the project stakeholders

Competencies & Capabilities
Functional know how and Hands on Murex experience in Forex, Money Markets, Securities, Derivatives, Structured Products - Configurations, Accounting, Limits, Delivery
Detailed Functional understanding of FO, MO and BO Treasury Processes
Good understanding of Market Data Services Implementation
Fair understanding on SWIFT
Fair understanding of modules in MLC - Counterparty, Sanctions, Facilities, Collateral Management, Documents, Limit Operations, Exposure Definitions
Fair understanding on Market Risk - VAR etc, Mxml, Workflows
Integration of dealing platform with Murex
Good understanding of Confirmation Matching, Settlement
Murex Integration to GL
Business Process Management/Re Engineering experience is desired
Been part of the various stages of project life cycle including requirements analysis, design, build/configuration, testing and roll out.
Strong Knowledge in Data Migration and Recon in Murex Platform
Prior experience in conducting Integration/design workshops
Integration/interfacing experience

Experience Level
Should have been playing a similar role in at least one Murex Treasury Implementation
Minimum of overall 8 years of IT experience in Banking Space
A minimum of 5 Years of hands-on/functional experience in designing Software products/solutions in the above areas
Knowledge/experience of/with testing processes
Experience in business process modelling tools (eg UML), information architecture (wireframes etc)
User interface knowledge
