Murex Application Support Analyst

My client, a global IT consulting company, is looking for a Murex Application Support Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract basis.

You would be responsible for;

- The maintenance and support of applications, ensuring team adherence to incident and change management, problem management and quality assurance processes;
- Managing support enquiries from business users; principally relating to debt markets business processes, products and systems (Murex, Loan IQ and Citadel);
- Analysing and troubleshooting complex business and technical issues to provide stable and reliable service to the business;

The ideal candidate would have experience in the following:

- Perl, Unix Shell Scripting
- SQL expertise
- XML, Java
- Murex - Version 2.11 and (3.1)
- Good business domain knowledge of Financial Markets (FX, MM, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equities, Energy, Commodities) products;
- Knowledge of business processes from front to Back Office, Middle Office, risk management and treasury;
