Multmedia Designer Engineer Job

A MULTIMEDIA DESIGN ENGINEER is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in West Mifflin, PA.

POSSESSION OF AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE OR EQUIVALENT IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design and develop interactive multimedia content for both standalone and web distributed learning.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communications, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experienced working within military training environments. Working knowledge of the ISD/SAT development approach.
- Server Side Scripting.
- Experience developing desktop simulation or gaming applications.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and SCORM compliance.
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication and troubleshooting skills. Basic project management skills.
- High level of expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experienced user of Adobe products to include Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Captivate, and Premier. Working experience with Learning Content Management Systems, Learning Management Systems and other tools for development and distribution of interactive courseware. Proficient programming with Action Script, JavaScript, Visual Studio, HTML, CSS, and XML.
- This is a contract position for three months.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge including courseware design for SCORM and Learning Management System implementation.
- Knowledge of designing and developing computer-aided instruction, interactive courseware, and other computer-based training products in accordance with DoD standards.
- US Navy technical/training experience a plus.
