The McAllister laboratory is accepting applications for 2 fully funded, 3 year post-doctoral positions. The first position will study the mechanisms underlying the function of immune molecules in the developing brain and in mouse models of autism and schizophrenia. Experience in developmental neurobiology, immunology, and/or cell and molecular biology is preferred. The second position will use advanced imaging techniques and a novel long-term imaging assay developed in my lab to study the learning rules and molecular signaling pathways that underlie the formation, elimination, and stability of glutamatergic and GABAergic synapses.
