MULTIPLE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICERS, EHO, HHSRS, LOCAL AUTHORITIES, CONTRACT, EAST LONDON

Due to a restructure within the company my client is seeking multiple Environmental Heath Officers for initial 3 Month contracts to be based from their offices in East London.

You will deal with the council's statutory functions and responsibilities in relation to Housing Disrepair, Houses in Multiple Occupation and tenancy relations. You will provide enforcement action and ensure compliance with codes of practice, guidance and legislation.

You will have a minimum of two years' experience in the area of enforcement. To include preparation of notices, preparation of witness statements, meeting of targets set and acting as investigation officer in the preparation of legal proceedings.

Skills and experience include;

- Experience of a range of technical activities relating to Environmental Health and Building Surveying
- Experience in the enforcement of Housing standards and Houses in Multiple Occupations
- Fully qualified in the HHSRS system
- Experience in enforcing legislation
- Experience in dealing with correspondence and giving advice to members of the public and external organisations
