MULTIPLAYER GAMES DESIGNER REDMOND, WA 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Currently we re looking for a highly skilled and detail orientated Designer to develop, and sustain the presentation and competitive side of the multiplayer experience on one of the most successful franchises in the game industry.

As a Multiplayer Designer, you will be responsible for the development, design, and support of existing multiplayer experiences and the implementation of new features. This opportunity is focused on the development and sustainment of a future game experience. An ideal candidate focuses on the presentation side of multiplayer, including UI elements, VO, dynamic music, and event timing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, develop, tune, and implement presentation layer features for multiplayer experiences
- Script, time, and storyboard presentation beats and features in a multiplayer match
- Write, tune, and implement VO lines to the multiplayer experience
- Design UI Overlays and information feeds
- Provide feedback on in-development multiplayer modes
- Provide feedback on updates, and propose new change requests to improve the multiplayer experience

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

- Computer Science Degree preferred
- 2 years of industry or mod experience on multiplayer titles OR, extensive experience on presentation systems in games
- C#, Unity, and/or Scripting experience a plus
- Deep understanding of camera systems in video games
- E-Sports knowledge and experience
- Experience testing and tuning multiplayer game modes
- High level problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Must bring a burning passion for and deep knowledge of competitive multiplayer games
- Great communication skills; comfortable working in a very communicative and passionate team environment
