THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- AAA Game experience
- C/C++, C#, Lua
- Gameplay
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- As a mulitplayer gameplay developer at the studio, you will work directly with the design team to implement features within the game experience.
- You will need to be able to accurately schedule your tasks as well as maintain a high level of communication with all team members.
- Capable of working cooperatively with interdisciplinary teams (design, graphics, art, UI and audio) to develop gameplay features.
- Create code systems that allow for fast iteration and are well architected.
- Debug and optimize key areas of code (not just your own).
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- You must have experience shipping AAA current generation games.
- At least five (5) years of C/C++ professional experience.
- Experience with C# and lua or an equivalent Scripting language.
- Strong debugging and optimization skills in a multi-threaded environment.
- Experience creating game-play systems.
- Extensive development in a multi-player environment.
BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of gameplay and game services networking systems a strong plus.
- Game state replication, TCP/UDP, data serialization and REST
