SQL DBA
Our Investment Banking client based in Zurich is looking for a Senior Oracle DBA with previous experience of storage migrations for an initial 3 month period. Working with members of the projects team, you will migrating from Symantec Netbackup to Commvault Simpana.
Required skills:
- Microsoft SQL Server production database administration; Microsoft Windows 2008/2013
- SQL Server 2012/2013
- Clustering and replication skills;
- Analysis/Reporting Services 2005/2008;
- Microsoft SQL Server Development;
- SQL Optimising;
- Database monitoring and troubleshooting.
Desirable skills:
- MCDBA (Microsoft Certified Database Administrator);
- Sybase ASE and Replication Server skills also very useful as well as supporting databases on SAN storage.
You will be working in a highly skilled that supports a global environment. Experience of a substantial corporate production environment is expected.
You will be working in a lively challenging environment and you should be able to display strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. You will need to be a pro active, motivation, self-starter, who is able to work with minimal guidance, managing issues and problems through to resolution. This is predominantly and English speaking environment so fluent English is a must.
