MSBI Specialists (Cubes) - London - Data Analytics Company

My client, a leading Data Analytics Company based inCentral London, is looking for an MSBI developer specialising in SSAS (cubes) development to join their expanding BI team.

The roles primary responsibility is the design and development of SSAS cubes to address business needs. The successful SSAS specialist will possess an ability to deliver cube prototypes in a RAD approach, working with business users collaboratively.

Day to day activities for the successful SSAS specialist will include cube analysis and cube design tasks. Ensures that cubes meet required operational standards and performance levels (as measured by reliability, response time, query execution time, etc).

Skills / Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in software and / or product development with a focus on databases and cubes
- Good knowledge of the MSBI 2008 stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) with particular focus on Microsoft Analysis Services
- In-depth BI experience including architecture, data modelling, ETL, OLAP & reporting
- Knowledge of MDX scripting for the definition of objects in a cube
- Experience of dimensional modelling
