MSBI Engineer/Developer

MSBI Engineer/Developer with profound SSRS knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or Business Analysis alternatively higher professional education or experience in respective areas
- Practical knowledge in IT and finance project work
- Proficiency of MSBI architecture and its components, especially SSRS
- Know-how of Agile project management methodologies like SCRUM are advantageous
- Languages: fluent English and German, both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Contributing to architecture, design and implementation of the MSBI based reporting platform and its underlying data model along with analysing and writing user stories as well as test cases
- Specifying, designing and implementing the ETL layer using a custom ETL solution established by Group Finance IT
- Providing requirements analysis, design, and implementation of SSRS based reports
- Supporting migration of MS Excel based solution to the new platform including structured testing
- Using Apache Kafka for proof of concepts to support "Real Time", event driven datamart updates
- Documenting and communicating change requests, user manuals and business cases along with planning, steer testing and rollouts including user trainings
