MS55211 - Network Data Engineer

Working closely with multiple disciplines to complete switch and data engineering projects. Working with Area, HQ, regional teams and vendors defining requirements; Financial tracking and budget responsibilities; Project manage and supervise integration; create methods to analyze and alarm products and Services. Performance monitoring and service trending analysis. Implement new hardware, Services, and initiatives. Provide tier support to operations for complex problem resolution. Assist Wireless Data sales with customer issues; analyze requirements for network connectivity, alarming and Performance statistics. Assist in testing and debugging of new trial equipment. Proficiency in network routing protocols; Experience with Motorola Network instrastructure; Switched Ethernet, CISCO IOS, IP Addressing schemes; Asynchronous/Synchronous connectivity; Proficiency in Data and fiber optic cabling standards; Equipment mounting and integration in a NEBS environment; AC and DC power and grounding; IP Routing, TCP/UDP communication; Proficiency in computer and networking security; Experience and proficiency with sniffers and networking analysis; SNMP, Radius, Authentication; Building Router and Ethernet switch configurations; Well versed in packet technologies.
5 years experience in telecommunications industry.

Candidate Qualifications;
Bachelor's Degree in Networking or Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
Experience in E///MSC wireless architecture.
Proficiency in wireless data call flows.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, engineerin413g tools & applications.
Enhanced project management skills.
Superior teamwork and leadership skills are essential.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work with minimum supervision in an individual and team environment.
Valid driver's license is required.
