MS54428 - Web Designer / Developer

All candidates must be local GA residents to be considered for this position.

This is a UI Developer position in which the person will be both updating existing and developing new pages using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery and Java. This person should have strong Web UI skills and competent Java skills, and should be able to follow existing models and create new UI standard based upon upcoming technologies. This person will be primarily responsibility for creating UI components and pages to enable capabilities within Java applications, therefore should be competent in working with Java within a J2EE/MVC framework.

Required Skills:
- Strong understand of human interaction with computer systems
- Strong Information Architecture skills, with the ability to arrange data and actions into an intuitive flow
- Ability to create wireframes, graphical templates, and other graphical elements for various web based projects
- Provide input to technical lead and architect on development solutions
- Ensure site design integrity and quality control consistency throughout the application and consistent with brand style
- Manage time effectively, and work on multiple project timelines simultaneously in a demanding deadline driven environment
- Under general direction, ability to complete and present tasks for review and approval

Required Technology & Tool skills:
- HTML4, HTML5, CSS2/3, JQuery, JavaScript, Java, SQL, Photoshop

Desired Technology & Tools Skills
- InDesign, Fireworks, ColorBox, JSON, XML, XPath, DOM

1-3+ years experience in web design and user interfaces within Java applications
B.S. Information Technology/Web Design/Graphics Design or equivalent experience
