For one of my key clients in Amsterdam I am looking for an engineer, with extensive experience with and knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012. Are you knowledgeable on Microsoft SQL Server products (such as SSIS, SSRS and SSAS)? Are you able to write Power Shell Scripts? And are you interested in setting up database services within the Cloud, within an Agile work environment? If your answer is yes to these questions, then I am looking for you.

My client is looking for an enthusiastic MS-SQL Server engineer with enough relevant experience with making SQL server to deliver high quality products to internal consumers. Your responsibilities will include:
- main tasks concerning SQL-service development, such as (SQL stack and DBaaS) which will be delivered through a deployment portal
- managing and maintaining SQL services (troubleshooting, life cycle management) independently as well as within a team
- development of self-service functions for consumers
- enable standardization and automation based on powershell and other tools
- develop and maintain monitoring functions (availability, performance, capacity) using system center suite

My client is centrally located in Amsterdam and easily accessible by car and/or public transport.

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (Dutch)
- Experience with MS SQL server ( preferably 2012)
- Experience with managing and configuring MS SQL server (preferably with MS BI and Sharepoint)
- SQL Databases in a private Cloud environment is a plus
- Reading and writing Power Shell Scripting
- Affinity with an agile/scrum work method
