MS SQL Server DBA - T-SQL/MS SQL/SSRS - Switzerland

NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY IN SWITZERLAND - MS SQL SERVER DBA - DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Our client is a global leader and blue chip company in Switzerland and seeking for an MS SQL Server DBA with the following skills and experience:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Min. 5 year experience developing T-SQL (preferably MS-SQL) solutions
-

Detailed knowledge of MS SQL Server ideally at a DBA level for performance tuning
-

Proven experience working with all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle
-

Proven experience with multi-feed ETL solutions
-

Proven experience with reporting solutions using SSRS and/or Web Services (WSDL)
-

Min. 1 year Financial services experience ideally in Equities, Fixed Income and/or Indices
-

Fluent English
-

Team player
-

Education to degree level

ADVANTAGE:

- Experience developing with other programming languages such as C#, C++, especially for Web service-based (WSDL) solutions
- Some experience designing workflow-based solutions with Markit EDM
- Business analysis and/or requirements engineering experience
- German

LANGUAGES: English (German will be an advantage)
