MS SQL Server DBA

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zurich, we are currently looking for a SQL Server DBA. This role is a full time contract position (6 months) based in Zurich and a suitable candidate is supposed to start in March 2013. SKILLS REQUESTED:

- Strong SQL Server DBA 2005/2008 (at least 5 year)
- Windows and SQL Clustering based on Windows Server 2003/2008
- Sybase ASE Server
- Scripting Languages (Perl, Shell)
- Installation and configuration SQL Server-Reporting Services, Integrations Services, Analysis Services
- Vertias Clustering
- Active resolution of system and performance issues
- DBA support for development teams on new projects

This is a project based role where we you will be responsible for technical management and coordination of issues and projects involving installation, configuration and administration tasks of SQL Server and Sybase databases.

SOFT SKILLS

- Ability to work autonomously but within a Team Framework
- Used to work against milestones, due dates, plans
- Good English skills (writing and verbal) - Optional: German and/or French
- Basic project mgmt
- Stress resistant
- Leadership
