MS SQL Server Architect

MS SQL Server Architect. We are looking for an MS SQL Architect for our client in the financial services sector in Zurich.
YOUR TASKS:
- Engages in research in all topics pertinent to the MSSQL stack and also wider IT developments
- Directs provision of, maintenance of and improvement architecture based on stakeholder requirements
- Creates concepts and makes design decisions for new solutions in MSSQL scope
- Defines and drives automation and self-service initiatives
- Ensures quality documentation is in place (architecture etc.)
- Strives for efficiency and cost improvements
OPERATIONS AND SUPPORT:
- Acts as technical role model and mentor for MSSQL Operations
- Trains, consults and directs team members
- Monitors and improves quality of service request fulfilment
- Works together with MSSQL Engineer to ensure stability, availability and performance of MSSQL platform
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 8+ years DBA experience in MSSQL
- Expert knowledge of the MSSQL technology stack from an end to end perspective
- Excellent knowledge of MSSQL concepts, architecture, engineering, implementation, usage and operations
- Very good Service Management and Project Management skills (ITIL Foundation certification)
- Fluent in English
